Developer description
The LIVA app is part of an integrated digital platform for disease management and lifestyle change. The app provides tools to monitor i.e. physical activity, sleep, mood, nutritional intake and biometric parameters like blood sugar levels, blood pressure, lung function etc. The app also allows one-to-one dialogue with health professionals (through a healthcare provider) to support and engage a healthier lifestyle. The communication can be both via text and small video messages. It’s free to download and use the tools, however you will need to be enrolled in a programme from your healthcare provider in order to receive personal plans and online support. General information and other information in this app must not be used as a substitute for professional advice or treatment by authorised physicians or other relevant professionals. Articles and other content are of a general nature, and cannot replace individual professional advice and treatment. The general material must therefore not be construed as either a diagnosis or a basis for diagnosis. If you have health-related questions, these must be raised in a direct two-way dialogue with a doctor or other healthcare professional. When you download the app, you are given the option to approve that your steps is imported directly from Apple HealthKit to the Liva app. You can always open the app 'Health', go to 'Sources' where you can activate/deactivate this permission.
